Recipe for Love – NaPoWriMo #7

Write a poem or prose about a recipe.
1 cup patience
1 cup kindness
1 cup tolerance
½ cup swallowed pride
½ cup “I sorry I was wrong”
1 tsp of memories (both good and bad)

Mix together patience, kindness and tolerance. Fold into the mixture the pride and sorry. Add the memories right before pouring into a well oiled LIFE pan.

Bake slowly for 25 to 50 years. Enjoy all along the way. Recipe serves EVERYONE.

  3. I love the 25-50 years. I have been married for 11 years now and still finding that the love continues to grow. That is so interesting how love never stops growing if we let it. The sad thing is the opposite is true as well.

  4. Wonderful recipe, I'm going to point to see if it works. At first it seems fine as long as you practice together.

  5. I love the recipe and the picture. Relationships and marriage have their ups and downs, and new challenges with each new stage. Wise poem on how to deal with the issues.
