Triolet – I Doubt Myself

I doubt if I can write this way

Perhaps though if I believe it

The voices chatter and they say

I doubt if I can write this way

Faith in me gets in the way

My confidence I omit

I doubt if I can write this way

Perhaps though if I believe it

This poem is written as a challenge write in a form called Triolets.

An early form of French Poetry dating back to the early 13th Century.

  3. You dod a sterling job, it's gunny how we doubt ourselves continually!! Triolet form is great here, strong refrains the only notes on form are on the iambs

*faith in me gets in the way* has one stress too little (don't count syllables count stresses and could be changed to my faith in me gets in the way

Also my confidence I omit...could be chants ti
