Fake A Smile

I saw it in the mirror
I saw it in my face
The image was an error
My smile was out of place

Though I tried to fool myself
Wasn’t to be the case
I saw it in the mirror
I saw it in my face

  1. I look in the mirror don't like what I see the face of a stranger standing, staring at me.

Well done. I think we have all been there!

  5. Great poem. REcognizing non-verbal cues we may not want to see but that help us deal with 'life'.
