Simpler Time and Place

Images of days gone by
Of a simpler time and place
Reminds of how we should try
Life moving at a slower pace

Remembering times we united
Together after our eating
Conversation was ignited
A constant family meeting

Then we adjourned to another space
For wholesome family viewing
Someone in the catbird place
In case of rabbit ear redoing

    This takes me back to when I was a small boy. I remember all we had was a small Black & White TV and we had good quality shows. I miss the old black and white movies we all watched...they really were simpler times. Blessings Lisa.

    I'm in agreement with Wellspring Of The Soul. The old black & white movies were the best...family movies one could watch with kids & parents, unlike movies of today.
