F is for Free Verse (A-Z Challenge)

The scene unfolded in front of my very eyes. The colors of the night were both bright and very vivid. The stillness of the night was broken by a strange and eeiry sound. It sounded as though someone was softly crying out. In the distance I could make out the outline of a man. His skin had a glow to it. Much like the shine of a delicious apple after it has been slowly polished. I wanted to sneek another peek at him from across the way but didn't want to seem rude. Although my mere presence seemed enough to cause him to begin walking my way. As I watched him make his way through the shadows I learned the source of the noise. It was merely the cry of a specific forest creature he had freed from a trap.
