A day in kindergarten
What a special treat
So many small children
They don’t miss a beat
They run and run
Til they just stop
They learn so much
From words to hop
Some learn fast
And some learn slow
But everyone
Will definitely grown
Keeping control
Of this classroom’s bluster
Takes more patience
Then I could muster.

As someone who writes and appreciates poetry, I find this a unique take on the kindergarten prompt. Memories intertwined with prose. Very nice.
