'History bursting like a volley of times gone by' - exquisite! This beautiful poem stands alone, even without the clever geometrical construction.
I like that very much. I love both the shape and the vivid imagery you evoked. :-)
I agree 'history bursting like a volley of times gone by' is a fantastic line..full of energy..Jae
Beautiful piece... I, too, Like the ending.~laurie
Nice one. It really creates a great picture in my mind. I've always loved imaging the story behind old abandoned places. :)
Loved the photo. I too take pictures of buildings such as this and conjure up their past in my mind. Reliving the lives and the loves, the work and the sadness that they have known and seem itching to tell me about.
Love those old buildings, they have silent stories inside of them.
Very touching to see dilapidated structures and the sad story that may have caused it!!
What a great job you did, on form as well as getting those words in a home I understand. http://judyidliketosay.blogspot.com/2011/03/identical-dual-volley.html
