M is for Mirror Refrain - Mystified at the Zoo

A Monkey and His Muffin
From Branch To Branch They Sway
It Was Quite The Sight To See
When I Went To The Zoo Today

A Hippo and Her Hamburger
She Swam Away From Me
When I Went To The Zoo Today
It Was Quite The Sight To See

A Lion and His Licorice

Asking For Help From My Blogger Friends

Blogger friends,

I am wondering if any of you have recommendations for blog sites dedicated to posting fiction writing.  Does such a place exist?  I've started chapters in a story that I'd like to find a place to be able to "link up".  Maybe a site that would give prompts that could be used in the story.  I'm a little nervous to branch out in this direction with my writing but I'm feeling so compelled to not let this "moment of fiction clarity" pass.

Thanks for any assistance.

L is for Limerick - Lolly the Cow

There was a cow named Lolly

She always seemed so jolly

She laughed all the time

Her milk was sublime

It was a wonderful folly

K is for Kyrielle Verse and Kindle (A-Z Challenge and NaPoWriMo #13)

NaPoWriMo #11
Write a poem that begins with a letter of something you have in your house.

An ode to my new reading tool
Something that I did not intend
Yet having one does break a rule
My Kindle is my newest friend

Unfaithful to my paperbacks
Electronic doesn’t feel penned
Gone is my heavy toting sacks
My Kindle is my newest friend

Can’t seem to give up books in hand
Even so I still recommend
You try them both don’t take a stand
My Kindle is my newest friend
